A few hours ago on the main event of UFC on FX, Vitor Belfort pulled a stunning spinning heel kick which dropped his opponent Luke Rockhold and after a few follow up punches, the referee stopped the fight at 2.30 mins in the first round, declaring a knockout. What an spectacular move by the Brazilian! He wasn't just trying his luck, it really does seem like he was setting up for it the entire time. He tried it earlier in the round but missed then this time, he got nearer to Rockhold and quickly did the kick.
I don't write about UFC fights but man, this kind of knockout is just too rare on UFC main events these days. It'd be quite interesting if we can see him go against Cung Le (who's known for his crazy kicks). But highly unlikely 'cause now Belfort may get the title shot against Anderson Silva.
