Since I'm already really late for this, it shall be a quickie. Sorry, been struggling to find the extra time to recap this. Movie reviews will remain as my main content until the traffic for my UFC entries start to grow.
Anyway, Chan Sung Jung dislocated his right shoulder while attempting a combo in the fourth round. Don't bother looking for the photo or video, it's not obvious or gruesome or anything like that. Featherweight champ Jose Aldo, of course, took advantage of Chan's injury. He threw kicks right at it, took him down and finished the fight with ground and pound which the Korean Zombie couldn't respond to. If it went to the judges, Aldo would probably have won by unanimous decision anyway with his takedowns and strikes landed. Neither did anything significant though. Chan practically didn't do anything at all. Guess we're still not close to having a pure Asian UFC champ.
In the co-main event, Phil Davis was the winner by unanimous decision against Lyoto Machida which nobody agreed with. Machida definitely connected with more damaging strikes. Probably Davis' takedowns and active movement fooled the judges. But to most who've seen this fight, without much of a doubt, Machida won this bout.
